We are  a relaxed, vibrant, friendly and inclusive parish church and if you come to visit us I'm sure you will feel at home. At St John's we seek to reach out to the community to share the love of God , to grow together, inspire and encourage each other so we can live our lives focusing on serving our community in Little Thornton. We aim to have Jesus at the heart of everything we do, not only in church when we worship but in our daily lives, work places, schools and homes, all contributing towards the Diocesan Vision 2026. Our lovely, modern church was consecrated in 1961 and the original church building of St John's is now used as our parish hall where lots of activities take place during the week. We are a friendly and diverse church, reaching out in the community of Little Thornton, where everyone is assured of a warm welcome.
